i paid a deposit over the phone but i haven't recieved a physical contract as of yet...is there any laws on that???
Since you paid the deposit over the phone, that may be viewed as a verbal agreement. You may lose our deposit if you cancel.

i believe the check is now the agreement aka contract, so yes you would probably not get your deposit back. any majoy reason you want to cancel? might be worth it to lose the money than to have any transportation headaches on your day - especially with some recent posts i've seen regarding some limo companies.

Your company if they dont have one may be able to contract one for you from another company so they dont lose you. I would ask.
