I realize my first name is hard for people to grasp right away, but my last name is not that hard, and yet people still manage to butcher both names!! I've been making calls for work all day, and no matter how clear I say my name, they still think I'm saying something else!!
Can I please switch my last name to FH's already?? His last name is so much easier and can't be butchered unless you're dyslexic!!

Just when you thought you'd be in the clear, you get a voicemail while you are in HAWAII from the Town of North Hempstead. So then you have to wake up at 6 am on your HM the next day and call them to find out that your marriage license isn't complete and your officiant needs to mail more info to them before they can mail it to the state for processing. so you can't go to Social Security, DMV or use your DH's name legally. Do I know who that happened to? Why yes I do?

Yeah something like that but I am not upset about it because it was accidental. There was a lot going on at the time of the signing. Ruckuses EVERYWHERE! If I can wait for my damn proofs I can wait for this!

Janna, I know all about the name thing. Nobody can ever pronounce my last name. FH's name is easier but not as pretty as mine.

Come to think of it, my new last name is often misspelled and mispronounced as well. And after all that I have dealth with this year, I have learned what is worth getting worked up over and what is not. This is small potatoes and is already being resolved. Now I just have to decide what to wear to Janna (insert a last name here)'s wedding! THAT worries me!

My last name is not THAT difficult but I guess not easy to pronounce unless you know how to say it..if that makes any sense. I am in a new job (school) since September and at this point I have just stopped correcting people..it's only another month or so
