Can I get some sympathy?
It's taking all I have today to not tell my boss to just FU@K herself- She is such an insensitive biatch and I am at the end of my rope....
This is the exchange we've been having- am I wrong?
(and by the way- I just asked her what the deal was for the 26th in terms of staying open all day or not b/c Airborne wanted to know)...
This is what she said:

> kate is taking that day as a vacation day. you weren't, right?

> he can come whenever for pickup as I doubt there will be outgoing.

This was my response:
No I wasn't asking if it was a vacation day- I was fully aware that it was not. I just wanted to know if you would be closing early as I wasn't sure. I did tell the Airborne man it would be business as usual but I would double check with you just to be sure.
My formal review cannot be on the Fifth as I will not return to work until the Sixth. I am not sure if having a full list of new leads with new contact information for the Sixth is realistic. The majority of companies in my target market (magazines, law firms, conference companies, etc) are closed between 12/25 and 1/5.
In addition, I have three days in the office to pound the phones. Today, Friday, I will be wrapping the rest of the champagne boxes and making bows. Monday and Tuesday are my last full days in the office prior to going on vacation and I doubt many will be in their office Christmas Eve.
I am not sure if this time frame is the most successful time to begin cold-calling. I am available to meet with you 1/6 to discuss strategy and have a review, however maybe 1/12 would be better to go over any new leads.
