can i just brag about the future hubs for a minute?
im so proud of him today (and everyday but especially today!!!)
a little backstory, hes a merchant marine and works on towboats out of Houston going up and down the gulf coast. its definitely been a hardship in our relationship because hes on the boats for 30 days at a time and then home for 15 days, rinse and repeat every month. well for a while now he's been in talks with the big dawgs at his company about becoming a Port Captain (right now he's the Captain on his boat) the Port Captian position would mean he would work a normal human schedule of M-F 9-5 and i would have him home to snuggle with me every night. well today ladies he got Port Captain!!! im so excited!! the only negative is that we have to live near the port which is in Houston, Texas but thats ok i would move to Mars for this man!! im so happy after 3 years of dating, come September 1st my man is finally gonna have a normal work schedule!!![]()
