Can I just say....................

That I have some truly great friends!!!

Most of you probably dont know that I grew up in South Florida and I was an avid softball player. I started playing when I was 6 years old and through the years won all kinds of tournaments and even a national championship! Well, as you can probably imagine I made a lot of friends through softball and we have literally been friends since we were 6 years old!
Well, I now live in MIlwaukee and have kinda lost touch with these friends a little bit through the years....but decided I wanted to invite them to our wedding anyway cause I love them! Well, turns out theyre ALL making the trip out here together...putting aside the fact that theyre poor, just starting new jobs, school, and their own lives. I'd like to say Im surprised theyre coming out but im really not cause these girls are truly extraordinary people! Let me tell you, when youre planning a wedding, you'll really find out who your friends TRULY are!!

I do know what you're talking about. Fh has been playing since he was 4, went to HS for baseball, played in college but uhmmm was a young cocky kid who thought he should be their star player even though he was a freshman and left bc he didn't want to deal with that, instead of paying his dues to the team and making his way up thats another story...But he has been playing softball for years, he has played all over the place, usually plays in queens and Long island, he goes away to tournaments, this labor day hes going to ocean city. His dad also played up until just a few years ago and they won championships together but his dad was also in the minors and was supposed to play in the major leagues but blew out his knee right before he was supposed to...Bc of both of them playing seriously FH knows so many ppl bc of that. Everywhere we go he always sees someone its insane and many times it has to do with sports. He always says you meet alot of ppl playing sports. Many of these people he has become great friends with.

People ask me alot if i hate that FH plays softball alot and i really don't, i love that he does something he loves, has that outlet, and its good for him. Plus i have to like it, we have to get our kid ready to be the next baseball superstar
