Can I just say............

THAT I HATE CARPETS! Every RH i go to i hate the damn carpet! why do they have to be so ugly!!!! i swear i am going to make a RH with white french walls and hard wood floors ... completely customizable to my liking with no crazy colored carpet stopping me!! grrrr! I AM NUTS!

Douglaston Manor in Queens has wood floors.

I hear you on the carpet but like my FH told me who the hell will be looking at the floor. BTW I have an issue with chairs too

My main requirement was no carpets and also chairs that don't need chair covers. We booked at the Watermill in their Carnegie room (it fits upto 70-90 people). It also has the beautiful walls you talk about

dont even get me started with chairs.. i loved the riviera but did not book specifically because the chairs gave me agita!! FH doesnt know a thing when it came to stuff like carpets and he just thinks im insane

Carlyle on the Green we loved (altho it has carpet in lobby) but it was too pricey same with the Carltun

it's a painful process..I've visited at least 30 halls, i feel your pain!!

I had a professor a few years ago who got married here and she sworeeeee by it!!! But my guest list is way too many people.. i wish i could be cut throat and just chop it in half though ...how are the other rooms?

i never knew what the inside looked like, that room is GORG!!!!!!

been to the bourne mansion but the site fee turned me off and now i hear they got rid of it but shot their prices up .. and ive been to de seversky but the room was too small and the carpets in that area where they want you to have dancing killed me as well!

Thank you!!! It's recently redone but because we have a small wedding we can have ceremony in there - I'm so excited!

The Sand Castle doesn't have carpeting and they have new chairs. I was so happy about no chair covers.

i love the sandcastle but i live literally like around the block and i had my sweet 16 there so it was out of the question for me! lol!!! im jealous though i hear they have the seafood boat now i want that sooo bad!
