Can I just say: I had to COME HOME FROM WORK because I spilt coffee ALL OVER myself...
I'll try to give you a visual:
I looked like I was in the shower with my clothes on.
One minute, I was sitting in a conference room with my teammate, listening to our team conference call...then the next minute, I was wearing coffee all over myself.
My team mate could not stop laughing...

HA! Once I went to work wearing 2 different pairs of boots! One was a combat-style boot and the other was a spiked heel!. I made it all the way to the atrium inside my building before I realized that it wasn't a piece of gun stuck to one boot, it was the rubber sole of my combat boot! I sounded like 'click-thump-click-thump' DORK

Welcome to the club! I actually have a change of clothes in the trunk of my car for such an occasion! Just laugh it off as much as possible. Thats how I deal with it! I have also tried passing it off as a new fashion (like tie-dye (sp?) ala mocha style)!

I once had a lapfull of balsamic vinegar at work. I ended up changing into the clothes we had here (leggings and polo shirt). I looked ridiculous and everyone laughed at me. Thank god it was a Friday afternoon and there were not a lot of people in the office.
