the week before the wedding? Our wedding is two days after thanksgiving, and i feel like to have the rehearsal dinner the day after thanksgiving is too much...did anyone ever do this before? will the church even let us?

Hey Mari!!! Last month for our friends wedding, they had their RD a week before. It was nice b/c no one had to rush home and get rest for the wedding. Esp. since your wedding is right after Thanksgiving, I would try to get it a week earlier.

It sounds like a great idea to me...I would check with the church I guess it depends on if they are flexible or have another RH that day

You can def. do this. We are having ours on the 2nd and getting married on the 10th. My church actually set it up that way, it was the date they had available.

DATE TWIN! We are having our RD the night before thanksgiving, that wed night.... Then we are all gonna go out with the rest of the population on thanksgiving eve!

check with your church...we have to do our rehearsal the week before b/c the church only does rehearsals on Thurs and Fri and since our wedding is a Thurs, we have to do it the week before. It works out great though, no one has to rush around.

My brother and his wife had done their RD a week before. You should be able to do it as long as the church has the date/time available.

thats a great idea! we couldnt do it because half of the bridal party (+ FH and his parents) are coming from OOT but if everyone is local it could be awesome

I would love to have it a week before, which is rather common. But my best friend and one of my BM's is coming from OOT and I really want her to be there so we are doing the evening before. Go for it!
