Can I officially join the board?????

DH and I just found out we are preggo and I have so many questions for all the BTDT mom's.

We are currently living in Ireland and I don't know what the procedures are here are for tests, sonograms etc. So I was wondering at what weeks do you have which tests, sonograms etc.

I had my first doctor's visit at about 7-8 weeks where she confirmed I was pregnant, did some blood work and did an internal sono so we could see our little peanut.

I've had doctor's visits every 4 weeks, at 12 weeks we heard the heartbeat. 20 weeks we went for our level 2 sonogram-this is the one where you get the really good pictures and you really get to see your little alien. Sometime between weeks 24 and 28 you should get the sugar test which tests for gestational diabetes.

That's all I can fill you in on for my pregnancy because I'm only at week 31.

Do you have any idea how far along you are? When you're due date might be? Have you seen a doctor yet?

Thanks for the info, I want to be as informed as I can be when I have my appointment so I know what questions to ask.

We found out while we were on vacation. During I had some spotting so we went to a dr who gave me a sonogram and confirmed that I was pregnant and about 6 weeks along. I figure that I should be do about 4/1/05. We just came home last night so I have to call tomorrow for a dr appointment.

Yes, the baby will be born in Ireland, but we are scheduled to go home at the end of May so the little one will be approx 8 weeks old when we go home.
