Can I please have your feedback? (PICS ADDED!) :-)

I just made these... do you like them? Which one do you like the best?

Please note that the cheesy, wine colored ribbon on one of the ornaments is not what I would use. I was just seeing what the color looked like. That one will have the wedding information written on the ribbon, instead of writing on the actual ornament.

I can't see the picks, but if you have any guests that don't celebrate christmas, then they are not going to appreciate reciving an ornament.

They are all adorable. I like the one with the writing on the ribbon or the one with the writing in burgundy b/c you can see it better. If I celebrated X mass I would totally put it on my tree.

First thought that came to my mind...have you tried hanging it on something? I only ask because having sand in the ornament might make it very heavy, and thus you will want very heavy ribbon or string to hang it up on.

I also agree that make sure most of your guests celebrate Xmas!!

But it does look nice!!

Most of my guests do celebrate Christmas, which is good. But, we're also giving a lot of different stuff to our guests to take home, so even those who are not will have something to take with them (candy buffet, rose/cigar, scratch off lottery ticket, kissing bell placecard holder, etc.). I'm a Christmas freak, and since the wedding is in November, I've always wanted to give an ornament as my favor. My brother has been to two weddings where he received an ornament. You're right about the sand, but it's surprisingly not that heavy. My other idea was to line the bottom of the ornament with blue paint, then fill it with the sand and shells. The paint is drying now, so I can't add the sand yet. I'll post that when the paint dries (it's like watching PAINT dry! lol)

They're beautiful but I have to agree with MileysGirl. Unfortunately, something as delicate as that t would not last long in my house. You may want to take that into consideration for the guests who have children too.

I love those ornaments. I think you should definately have the ribbon, it gives it an extra touch. But I also think you should write something on the ball..... like the crecent beach club.... So I voted for the one with the ribbon, but i think you should mix the ribbon, with wine writing, but only saying crecent beach club on the top as you wrote it on the ball.

Definitely without the writing. I feel the writing takes away from the ornament. It is almost distracting IMO.

My mom was thinking that I should have stickers made to put on the ornament. That's how I might be able to put something on the ornament without 'writing' on it. I think hand writing on it kind of cheapens it. I wish I could engrave them, but I think they're too delicate. hmmmm...
