Can I please have your feedback? (PICS ADDED!) :-)

Original post by sarahradio5

I just made these... do you like them? Which one do you like the best?

Please note that the cheesy, wine colored ribbon on one of the ornaments is not what I would use. I was just seeing what the color looked like. That one will have the wedding information written on the ribbon, instead of writing on the actual ornament.

I think they are very original and I like them plain, with no writing.

I like them without the writing.

My mom was thinking that I should have stickers made to put on the ornament. That's how I might be able to put something on the ornament without 'writing' on it. I think hand writing on it kind of cheapens it. I wish I could engrave them, but I think they're too delicate. hmmmm...

Thanks to everyone for the feedback so far!

What about a wrapping strip around the ornament? Not sure where you would go for that, sorry.

Right now I think the info would look good on the ribbon.

I think it's a really cool idea. I do prefer with no writings on the glass part since it might take away the elegance of it.

Thanks for your feedback, ladies! I'm not going to write on the ornaments, but I may try to do something with tying ribbon to a decorative monogram label and tying/gluding it around the circumference of the ornament, which can either stay on the ornament, or be removed (it's up to the guest). That will dress it up a bit, without cheapening it. And I'll tie the pre-printed, burgundy ribbon to the loop at the top.

I've always wanted to give out ornaments as my favor (I'm a Christmas FREAK), so I'm so happy our wedding is in November so the timing is right to do this! Plus, I think the sand/shells tie in the beach thing just enough. Thanks again, girls!!
