Thought of this in my sleep but I don't know if it is in bad taste. Then I thought maybe I should put it on just so I get the 20% discount if no one buys it.
Did anyone put a BBQ on their registry? Any advice?

We registered for one at Fortunoff basically so we could buy it with the discount after our wedding. I think it was $550. Well...someone already bought it!!! I was shocked. It is also nice if people want to do a group gift. You never know, so I say do it!

FH and I put a vacuum on our registry..by far the most expensive item..and at our shower last weekend- someone had bought it! It was a bunch of people that went in on it together, but if it is something that you and FH really want- go for it!

My FH wants to put a flat panel TV on our Fortunoff registry! UGH!
MEN!
My FH wanted to do the same thing--since we already have our house and didn't really need much, he wanted to register for a flat screen and NOTHING else!! I actually contemplated the idea, but then my mom brought me back down to reality!!
I say GO FOR IT---remember it's the one time in life you can ask for whatever you want!!!

Mine too! I said that was crazy though, but the bbq isn't a bad idea. Everyone tells me, just put everything and anything so people have different options, and like others said, if not, you get the discount.

I don't really see why not. It's something that you will use. Of course since I'm the groom and love to cook I am saying YES. But there are alot of things you may get that you will give away because you'd never use. So it makes since that you should put things you will use. Does a microwave sound like something in bad taste? It may to someone who does everything from scratch like my aunt used to do. She finally got one but rarely uses it still. Name someone who didn't get a present on their wedding they thought was in bad taste or just wasn't something they'd use EVER.
Best Wishes and Happy Grilling

Home Depot has a registry. You can get a grill, a two by four and a Black and Decker round power saw if you wanted.
