I agree... just give it time, and you'll get a response from someone who can really help you! I usually don't answer because I really can't contribute much... I could just say I don't know, but I think that would just be a waste of time...

First off, Jess ITA! That's one of my biggest LIW pet peeves - along with people who post something, get 2-3 great repiles, and then immediately post 'anyone else?' as if those few replies were meaningless.
Secondly, in response to the poster I quoted - I think the situations vary! You could read a post, have nothing to say, and then check back because you'd like to see the responses. Someone might post asking about a great place to get a groom's cake - you might not have anything to say because you're looking for one too - then you'd naturally check back later to see the replies so you'd have some recommendations.
Everyone's got their pet peeves! Who is to say what should and shouldn't bother someone?
