Can I share how blessed I feel?

Ok, I'm very chatty this morning, but just bare with me here....
So yesterday was my concert with my 1-8 grades, and they were so amazing. They blew me and everyone else away with their enthusiasm and cuteness, so I was feeling so excited over that. But then, I received the most amazing gifts from all of these kids. I got champagne, gift certificates, beautiful cards, MONEY (haha), Godiva chocolates , TONS and TONS of other things. I just felt like I was the luckiest person in the world, not because of the gifts, but the fact that I teach not just one class in the school, but I get to know EVERY child there as the music teacher. And every child did something special for me yesterday, and it just made me feel so blessed. (Not to mention I'm a big baby and I love presents ) Just thought I would share.

How wonderful!! I think teachers are the greatest profession in the world... you're helping our future generations who will one day run the country! It must be such a rewarding feeling.

I was just going to post and ask how the kids did with the concert.

Thanks for thinking of me Nanjoe It really went well. Everyone kept commenting on how I wasn't nervous at all, and the kids even were totally confused that I was so calm. I just told them to have fun, and they did, and it showed. In the end, that's all that matters
