Fh is being annoying and wants me to turn off the bloomies and BBB regristries b/c #1 we have to many gifts and no where to put it #2. Fh is being greedy lol and is hoping people will give $$ instead of gifts for the wedding...
BUTTTT can I do that??? Like turn it off and put it back on after the wedding?

i guess you could probably do that somehow. What idf you just removed the items that were not purchased so there is really nothing left for people to buy!

Not sure about those stores but I know you can sign into a Macys registry & make it private so no one can see it. You should be able to do that with other sites as well.
I have to be honest & say that if I received an invite with registry info & then when I went to the site to purchase something, not be able to find the registry I would be a little ticked off. I would completely feel like the only reason the info cards where in the invite was to make sure I only purchased something from those stores. JMO

Oh there was no regristry info on the invites. Just on the shower invites. And I had my shower already.

My only concern with doing that would be that people who might want to get you a gift will still get you something - except that you won't have asked for it if they dont have a registry to choose from! Just a thought . . .

The only reason I wouldn't do that is because some people honestly just don't like giving money as a wedding gift, they prefer to purchase a gift. If you remove items from your registry, its not going to make someone who wanted to buy you a gift give you cash...its going to make them pick out something on their own. If that happens who knows what kinds of gifts you'll end up with.

I think I'll just remove the little things and leave a few gifty things, although FH is going to flip. But you something, if he wants to do it, he can do it himself. I'm annoyed that I even need to do this today.
