Can I wear this to a wedding? Update 2nd option...

Ok, yes, I know, it's white. But between closing on our house on July 10, the wedding, and the gift for their wedding (their bedding!) this weekend, I really don't have $$ to buy a new dress...

The wedding is one of those where I get the impression that she is trying to make it nice, but the place they are having it is more casual (which is fine, just makes it hard to figure out how to dress!)

So all my dresses are either too fancy or TOO casual. This is my only higher-class-sundress

So from what you can tell, yes or no? I have a lei covering the top but it has brown straps, brown trip around the top and under the bust, and a brown sash that ties in the back.

Please take note of FH's 'Game Over' teeshirt lol.... this was at our Luau Eparty

Update: Is this one any better?? I know I know, still light.... apparently I go for light colors with semi-formal dresses

sorry,i wouldnt

even thought its not totally white..and some wont even notice u will still get the few who go when they look at u and if it was me i would not even chance it

If you want to wear it, ask her first. I wore something that was similarly white-dominant to a friend's wedding in New Orleans last year and asked the bride to be beforehand. I also wore it with a bolero -- if you paired this with a black bolero or even a red one maybe to match, it wouldn't be as 'white'. But I'd still shceck with the bride just in case.
