What is the difference between thermography vs. engraving?? is engraving more than thermography??

The invitation lady is asking me which do I perfer.. and I don't know the answer... I told her we must go with something that's the least expensive

Engraving is more expensive, but I'm pretty sure that they both look the same. It's just a different processing of getting the raised ink on the paper.

Thermography is def cheaper than engraving. Engraving somtimes are even more than letterpress....my favorite
