movies like Hostel and Saw? Hostel is on now, and we were watching it but I just left the living room because I honeslty got sick. I really dont know who comes up with these movies, but this is just not right.

I didn't see hostel. I heard it was very gory.
Saw, I have to say was a really good movie though. There was a lot of thought in that plot line. I loved the Saw movies. They weren't gory for the sake of being gory. There was a good story behind it all.

oh wow - see FH and I looooooove those movies, esp FH he grew up on horror movies - has so much horror memoribilla its insane!
I dont know why i like them tho - just the thrill of getting scared - although I will say when I saw hostel in the theatre I had to close my eyes during some parts!

I saw Hostel and it was extremely disturbing! I was just looking for something to watch and I saw that, I get the chills when I saw that! I HATE that movie.

Those are FHs movies. We know the director of the first one and the second one is an italian film.

My MOH is into gory movies and doesnt bother her at all. She watched hostel and said Eh wasnt as gory as i expected, i havent seen it so cant comment

Jason isnt phased in the LEAST! we have had to have discussions about his movies and having children - he started at 6 - i cant imagine it!

I'm not really a horror movie nut at all, they give me nightmares for days! but I don't think Hostel or Saw really were horror movies, they were just creepy.......I get so excited when the sequels come out

I hate the gore, blood and guts, but the story lines of Saw are really incredible. I never saw Hostile, but Saw was good...if you can get past the grossness.

I never saw Hostel but I must say I really like the SAW movies. They really get you thinking. I am also not grossed out by many things so I can stomach those types of movies

I agree with everyone about saw! I didn't want to watch them at first becasue I thought it was just gore for the sake of gore. But then I forced myself to watch them and the plot lines are so good! The movies all link together and everything is done for a reason. I have not seen the latest one yet. Hostel was just gore for the sake of gore IMO. I did watch it and was grossed out! I don't get it. It just wants to gross you out I think, there was no real suspense, it was just torture!!!
