Can someone get my Dad to shutup??!!
I would have never thought in a million years, that the leaky person for my shower would be my FATHER!!!!
Everyone else has been tight lipped. But here's my evidence so far:
Some of you know my MOH dropped the ball in the beginning and only got the ball rolling on the shower 3 WEEKS AGO. But nevertheless, it's done. So while I was venting about this happening, and while I was being thrown off by my mother into thinking it was in Queens....
Me: Hi Dad, how's everything?
Dad: Well, your aunt finally found a better place for your shower in Bay Ridge and......
Thanks, Dad.
Then last week.....
Dad: Well your aunt and MOH aren't giving people much notice since I need to give the head count and payment by the 27th......
Then it gets even better
Me: Well I already know it has to be within the first 2 weekends of April since March was such a bad month for everyone...
Dad: Well it's as close to March as it can get
THEN as if this was not bad enough.....TODAY
Dad: Did you hear about that sinkhole in Brooklyn?
Me: I saw the headline, but didn't read into anything else about it, why?
Dad: It's right by where the shower location is
Me: Thanks, then I have to make sure I don't read anything about it.
Argh!!!!! I can only laugh because every bride in my family has had the shower details spoiled by a family member the week of the shower. I guess I am not an exception!!!!!!!!!!!
