Can someone please explain???????

Why me or someone else asks a question....so many people view but they NEVER respond.

I thought we were all on the same team to help each other. (Sorry if that's mean)
I just don't understand!!

If you dont explain yourself in the subject and we open it up, and see we either cannot answer the question or its one of those that need a full page explanation and we're just too tired or busy to type something out...

PS: dont be surprised if someone gets a lil aggravated that you posted something like this... ive seen it happen before in the past...

PSS: I read your thread that you want answers to, but i didnt post bc i dont have an opinion on it really.. i think it could go either way

i hear you loud and clear. i think alot of brides are gone, or since their wedding has passed, maybe many dont post anymore. but for us later in the year brides, we are still on here and post alot.. who knows... JMO.

I agree..sometimes, it's just a tricky subject and people don't want to misguide you

a lot of times I don't answer bc I don't like being negative or hurting people's feelings. If someone is really excited about something I don't wanna be the one to bring em down.
Other things I just don't have an opinion on.

I will usually open up the ? and look at it but a lot of times, I just don't know what to say or what the answer is, so I don't post anything. Plus, sometimes I think this board can be overwhelming to people. At first I sat around and read posts for a long time, wasn't sure how to introduce myself or where I could ask a question, so I didn't but I loved to see everyone's questions and answers.

I would think sometimes people just dont have an answer or an opinion. In some cases, I dont have anything nice to say, so I dont respond at all. And sometimes I'm just not in the mood to type : )

Sorry I am guilty of this too. Sometimes I don't post because the same question has been asked a thousand times. I feel like if they run a search, they will find the answers. I will reply if it's someone new to the board who are not familiar with the search engine. Or if someone looking for an opinion rather than an answer.

I agree with you. For some posts, there are 3 pages of responses and then if I post something, I feel like I get nothing. Maybe we're just posting at low traffic times.

A lot of times I'll open a post titled something ambiguous like 'PLEASE HELP!!!!' and then it will say something like... Recommend your DJ!!!

We had a band, didnt look at any DJs and I don't really have anything to offer to that poster.

It would have been better if the person titled the post 'Please recommend your DJ' so people who have answers will open it, and people who dont wont. I know a lot of people overlook posts with ambiguous titles just because they can be annoying

It's not always done for spite... although the same questions are sometimes asked over and over

Yes, that is very frustrating. Sometimes, at least for me is that if I dont know the answer to the question I will not respond. Lately I have been trying to at least say 'sorry I dont know but check in xyz'.

ETS: I also think that there are tons of people on this site that are lurking and dont really respond to post.
