I bought mine from Beautiful Bride in Lynbrook. You could also try Bridal Reflections in Carle Place or Massapequa... that's where my BM go their dresses. HTH!

Helen's in Commack has a wide selection of Maggie Sottero gowns. They are gorgeous, a lot of girls on here are Maggie brides

My advice is to go where they have the most choices for you ...like RK bridal. Decide on the dress, and you don't have to buy it there. You just want to have choices. Make sure you go on a week day and not on a weekend...it is a mad house

Once you have decided on the dress there, take the style number and designer name. Go online to the designers website to see who carries that designer near you and then call them. I suggest to call a few places to see where you can get the best price It is what I did

I went to RK bridal and tried all the dresses I wanted, then I called a few places near my home that carried the dress I wanted I actually found a place 15 blocks from my home that sold the dress, for $300 cheaper than RK bridals (and it included alterations) whcich RK didn't

Good luck!!

I had a fabulous experience at Village Bridal in Babylon. I would definitely recommend them.

This is more of an alternative, but the bridal garden is a sample sale that benefits education. It is kind of like shopping at Century 21, you might find something amazing or nothing at all. Some of the dresses are really cool, some are really ugly. Many need minor repairs, but some are perfect. You will probably want to clean the dress.
The prices are great, I would say about 2/3's off, maybe even more.
You may also find some really cool designers that are only in really expensive stores.
If you are really pressed for time, it may not be the best choice, but if you can spare the hour it might be worth it.
Also it's very informal, no Kleinfeld pampering, but everyone was friendly and nice, the brides were all helping each other out. I really had fun there, and tried on a really cool dress from a very upscale designer I never heard of.
The dressing area is very basic, to put it kindly.

I bought mine at Renate's in Lindenhurst - shopped around for the best price on the dress I fell in love with at Village Bridal in Babylon (also really great - excellent service, but found it cheaper at Renate's) - everything there seems good so far - I bought a Maggie Sottero dress - corset back makes for a really flattering figure.
