Can someone save me from my own stupidy and answer this?
what material are the church aisle runners made out of. i know the limo provides one outside, but for inside the church- is it fabric, paper, plastic?????

the limo ususally provides for inside..not outside..i believe...

Yup inside. and fabric depends on the limo company. Some do nicer than others.

We have an outside runner (red carpent) which is a 'mini' version - from the door of the limo to the stairs of the church...and then the inside runner (white) which is like a plastic/vinyl material....
Info from webiste:
100 foot long, 36' wide white aisle runner for indoor or outdoor use. Runner is of plastic/vinyl construction and includes a pull string. Standard runner has a slightly more synthetic feel than does the premium runner, but neither item has the appearance of cloth or linen.

Outside runner is a 'red carpet' as per Chris' response. Inside runner is paper, although mine upgraded me to a lace looking one. All done by limo co., all gratis.

HA! I was thinking about this last night Jess. I wanted to talk to my church and ask the same thing. I remember a wedding about 2 years ago where the runner was made out of paper and when the bride was walking down the aisle her heel kept poking through it making a popping noise. God, I worry about the strangest things.

They put it on (down) before you walk down the aisle...it's done pretty fast!

Be careful with the plastic one too.... I have heard horror stories of people tripping from the heals getting caught in it...
