My cousin is married and my best friend is not. I was my cousins MOH but I would like my BFF to be my MOH. Can i have my cousin be my matrin of honor and my BFF be my MOH?? Please help. Also does anyone have a bridesmaid in their party to avoid hurting the person.

yea you can have both.. that's a good way of inviting both of them to be in your brial party.. just make sure you have different tasks for them so they each feel special....

i must admit i am having a friend be a bm to avoid any issues. don't get me wrong she is a good friend and i have known her for a very long time, but i really didn't want to have a huge bridal party...in the end i decided it wasnt worth risking the loss of a good friend and i am happy she will be a part of my big day

Well that depends on what you want them to do... usually the maid of honor holds the rings if u dont have a ring bearer... who stand next to you.. who sings the license.... so on and so forth... maybe one can stand next to you and the other one can give a speech at the reception... again depends on who you want to do what... hope that helps

In February I was my best friend's Maid of Honor and her sister was the Matron of Honor. So yes there can be a Maid and Matron of Honor.

I had a maid and matron of honor...and I chose the matron of honor because I felt I was obligated too...and in doing so...I hurt the feelings of a very good friend of mine in the process..I could have had bridesmaids..but I wanted to keep it small...so when you make your decision to choose your bridal party..make sure to choose the people who are close to you..and don't choose someone simply because you were in their bridal party...good luck...

My sister had both adn it was totally fine. i was the maid and her BF was the matron. I signed the marriage lincense and walked down right before her and her friend took the bo-k. It was totally fine!
