Can this also be a favor?

Can this also be a favor?

My FH and I are getting low on funds. We want to make this picture frame for both the seating and the favor. Is this cheap?

honestly, it looks like it takes up some space...it may be too cumbersome even for your placecard table. also, what is the goal with your favor? would you like guests to use it...do you foresee them using something like that in their homes..

maybe you could do a plain frame and then some chocolates or something as a 'favor'. everyone likes an edible favor.

hth.

Every favor I always recieved I stuck in a draw and never used it. Salt and pepper shaker, cookie cutter, bowl. I really do not care what they do with these frames....I hope that doesn't sound harsh. Thay really are beautiful adn not too big either. Should I add an editble in some tulle?

you sound like me! i hate favors! i was stressing out over them, and i think i'm gonna end up w/ an edible in tulle! you can do that too if you have the $$, along w/ the frame. i think it's a really cute idea, and it's doing double duty for you!

Those frames are nice but if you are tight on a budget I would go with a smaller frame as place cards and a simple almonds in mesh for favors. I don't know how many people you are having but Michaels crafts store also has nice favor boxes (50) for $20.00 you can put almonds or chocolates in.
Good luck

it just doesn't make much sense to me...you want to know if it's 'cheap' but you don't really care what they do with them...in that case, it doesn't matter. if you like them, use them tulle with chocolate would be nice I'm sure.

I think that if you are tight on money, that you would want to spend it one something that means more to you- not waste it on something you think people are just going to toss...that's just throwing money away, IMHO.

honestly, i don't like it at all. i would wind up leaving it at the hall because i know i wouldn't use it.

do something edible or don't give favors at all, we're not.--and i'm not cheap!

If money is the issue and you don;t love the frame, do regular palcecards and do an edible favor, personalized candy bar or something.... I personally would like the frame cause I'm into the whole fairy tale thng..but I think most people would not be into it as their favor...Maybe for a shower, but not for the wedding. or, you can pick a plainer frame that people will be more likely to use

They ARE cute. I personally love them... And you can use them if you want..but I don't think most people will appreciate them as the only favor.

I have to agree with the majority of the girls...I think I would leave that frame at the hall as well...you're better off getting a practical simple frame that everyone could use, or just stick to the edible favors which Im sure everyone will enjoy. Good Luck!

You can do what you want though. The favors I may use no one liked...because some oare christmas-y and soem are hannukkah-y and half wouldnlt even be able to use the half of them, but it'll work out really well $$ wise and I'm hoping people will pass them on if they can't use them.

Why not make a donation.? Guests would appreciate that a lot more, dont you think. The best part is that there is not set amount. Use whatever money you were going to spend on those frames and make a donation to a good cause both you and FH beleive in.

I wish everyone would just do that- unless I can eat it- I don't want it

who ever invented favors should be killed- IMO

We were thinking about doing a donation in honor of my mother who has MS. We'll probably do both! Now is this a better favor? I will attach the donation scroll to the neck of the horse with a ribbon.

One more thing. One of our close friends was just recently diagnosed with Luekemia. I feel guilty we are not donating for this cause. Would it be tacky if I did both the MS and Cancer society and do half the favors with one donation and half the favors with the other?
