Close to Jericho terrace in Mineola. I just called the Wingate and they have no rooms available to block for July 3rd 08,,,,now im freaking am i going to be able to find one...Please help..

The marriott in garden city, as well as, the garden city hotel.
i am a JT bride as weel and I booked at Wingate, but The Marriott and Garden City hotel were all on a list they gave me with the Wingate

yeah, it doesn't hurt to call, though. I blocked my rooms already. it doesn't cost anything and they hold them until a month before the wedding.

yeah I am definitely gonna do this...I swear one thing just keeps piling on top of the other. By mid september i am gonna go crazy bc of all the things that need to get done...but thanks ill do that soon

Hi date twin!!! They are in the process of completely re-doing the Sunrise Executive Hotel in Rockvile Centre (Ocean Ave/Sunrise Hwy). It will now be the RVC Inn. They said it will be open mid sept 07. Not sure what their rates will be.

My friend blocked rooms at the Long Island Marriot in Uniondale it wasn't a long limo ride to the reception.

thanks girlss. I actually am waiting on 2 calls back fromm Hilton Garden city and Hamton INN. I got nervouse because i wanted the wingate since last year and when i called they told me it was too early and i didnt call last month and now theyre out.. Im sure some other bride blocked alot of rooms...LOL

I blocked rooms for 5-17 already too at The Wingate. Doesn't hurt as they do fill up fast...

I WAS THINKING THE SAME THING! I LIVE RIGHT UP THE BLOCK FROM IT BUT THOUGHT IT MIGHT BE TOO FAR FOR THEM FROM JT.

Your best options distance-wise would be Garden City, Westbury, Glen Cove. I live in the area and I personally think the Wingate would be further than anything in the other two areas.

I was told by the hotel sales manager at the hotel I booked at that if it's a holiday weekend they probably won't let you book a block of rooms at a dicounted rate. They might let you have a block, but it won't be discounted.
