If it is a subject you are uncomfortable sharing i totally understand but i am just wondering, how much are you all spending on your wedding when all is said and done... venue, vendors, dress, hair, makeup, extras, all of it. Im coming to a point where im realizing this wedding will probably cost me between 50-60 grand - someone tell me im not alone

We are probably around 40k with honeymoon and tips. I'm saving in every little way I can, but our venue is one of the more expensive ones. I wanted to be at or under 30. It's VERY difficult to stay under that.
That's 41325. Crazy. Makes me so sad. I think we'll end up taking out a loan to pay for it all as my dad is going through a divorce and my mom is a single mom. It's sickening, but that's still less than average on long island.

By the time we were done with tips we were at $55k. That literally includes everything, even stamps. I couldnt believe it when I saw my list. Granted it was an amazing day and I would do it all over but it was crazy expensive. Especially when you look back at all the items included. Things that maybe at the beginning you didn't think we're necessary but are. And you cut out as much as you can, which we did. The price sky rocketed before we even knew. And I was being pretty freaking careful about what we spent and where. We haven't even looked into a honeymoon. If we were to do it over we would def do a destination wedding. They're so much fun! We would just keep it small and intimate and just stay there for our honeymoon.
i think thats everyones thought....those who have a big wedding say they wish they did a small/destination wedding and those who have a small/destination wedding always look for excuses to have a big wedding like a vow renewal

Kasey: Do you have a band in mind? I noticed you put a '?' next to that one. My band was $6,000. Think that had a lot to do with the fact that we wanted all parts of the band and didn't want to break them up. This was just a heads up incase you had not thought about bands yet.

Yes! But I'm reusing the stones from my promise ring, so I'm hoping that it will only cost me the setting.

We are at 85k plus 15k for the honeymoon. FH went overboard on the honeymoon bc it's falling during my bday. So far no regrets...17 days to go!!!

Venue - $9-10k Honeymoon - about $3k Dress - $1k (with alterations Photographer - $850 DJ - $550 Flowers and accessories (table numbers, frames, etc) - $500 Invitations - $170
If I add up everything, I'm spending between $15,000 and $20,000 on my wedding. That is for about 80 people, keep in mind.
