Can we be honest for a minute?
If it is a subject you are uncomfortable sharing i totally understand but i am just wondering, how much are you all spending on your wedding when all is said and done... venue, vendors, dress, hair, makeup, extras, all of it. Im coming to a point where im realizing this wedding will probably cost me between 50-60 grand - someone tell me im not alone

I'm a little over $30K. But I'm extremely budget conscious and bat sh*t crazy lol.But a good friend of mine is getting married in September 2016 and her venue alone is the cost of what you are spending on your wedding in total. Luckily, like me, you have 2 years and I guarantee it will be worth every penny :)

Right now about $45K including honeymoon. We initially said 30K but then the venue alone was $8K more than we initially thought. Then we totally reworked the budget to be more reasonable for what we wanted in photo, flowers, etc. we also added video when we initially said we didn't need it. FH will kill me if I go over budget on or add anything else to the list lol. Thankfully my parents are paying for the dress, FHs parents are contributing about $8K and grandparents are contributing about $3K. So we'll still be around our initial $30K budget, out of pocket.

Right now we are around $32k without the honeymoon. We had a $30k budget and I am doing my best to stick to it!

The total budget was about $30-35k and we're doing pretty well sticking to it so far. My parents are paying for my dress and the venue, my grandma is paying for my videographer, and FH and I are paying for everything else.

our wedding budget is 25k not including honeymoon. the honeymoon will be another 5k. we're paying for everything on our own so I'm making sure we don't go over. It's been hard finding deals but we're right on track with our budget so far. weddings are so expensive =/

We wanted to be around 40k, however our budget is estimated at 51k right now, that even includes tips etc. but not honeymoon. I'm fortunate my dad is giving me 15k and mom is kicking in another 10k, but the cost still makes my head spin!!

Can we be honest for a minute?
My budget is 30-35,000. I think we are staying pretty close, so far we are at 25,000 and only a few things left to book. (Limos, invites, favors, gifts, etc). I didn't factor in the honeymoon so that may put us over. I am fortunate that my parents are helping where they can, currently they are purchasing my dress. My fiances parents are really helping by contributing close to 10k, but everything else is on my fiancé and I. I get overwhelmed sometimes thinking about the amount but I know it will be worth it.

By the time we were done with tips we were at $55k. That literally includes everything, even stamps. I couldnt believe it when I saw my list. Granted it was an amazing day and I would do it all over but it was crazy expensive. Especially when you look back at all the items included. Things that maybe at the beginning you didn't think we're necessary but are. And you cut out as much as you can, which we did. The price sky rocketed before we even knew. And I was being pretty freaking careful about what we spent and where. We haven't even looked into a honeymoon. If we were to do it over we would def do a destination wedding. They're so much fun! We would just keep it small and intimate and just stay there for our honeymoon.

Ideally in my head I want to keep it at 25K without honeymoon, I didn't figure out tips yet cuz I don't have everything booked. I only have my venue and Photo/Video and im close to 20k already. I figure by the end of all this i should be around 30k-35k MAX!...hopefullyyyyy I'm really trying not to go over budget or add on anything yet until i have my major stuff booked

15K without the honeymoon...Having a smallish wedding,off-season and Sunday AND booking things very early has been a huge help! Plus, I would also consider myself very budget friendly...I bought my dress off the wrack, I did not upgrade anything with the venue, booked with Complete Wedding Packages (which saved a couple thousand!), looking at very inexpensive flower arrangements...things like that all add up.

we are at 36k right now... and still need tips, hair, makeup, save the dates, invitations, favor and the rest of the jazz :( so over budget.. wanted to be 30k! Need to start thinking 'NO!'.. We are also a January wedding and thought I would save money by doing that... but it seems not :( We are paying for it.. my dad did buy my dress and his parents paid for the limo and church

We're about $35k right now - not including tux, dress, hair, make-up, invitations, limos, tips, favors or honeymoon and small reception decor extras I want.It gives me overwhelming anxiety just thinking about it,but it looks like we're all in the same boat! I'm hopeful it will all be worth it in the end!

Can we be honest for a minute?
We are probably around 40k with honeymoon and tips. I'm saving in every little way I can, but our venue is one of the more expensive ones. I wanted to be at or under 30. It's VERY difficult to stay under that.Price breakdown:
Venue ~19k
Photo~ 1300
Video - 3700
Florist - 1500
Limo/Trans - 1200
Dress - 1500
favors - 150
Stationery - 1k
Tuxes - 250?
Veil/Accessories - 150
DJ - 2700
Church - 1400
Alterations - 2-300
Wedding bands - 1k?
Honeymoon - 5k
Photobooth - 750
Shoes - 225
Hair and makeup - 250
That's 41325. Crazy. Makes me so sad. I think we'll end up taking out a loan to pay for it all as my dad is going through a divorce and my mom is a single mom. It's sickening, but that's still less than average on long island.

Well probably be between 45K-50K when all is said and done. We've gotten a little help from family but we are paying for the majority of the wedding ourselves.
