I think it depends what you don't approve of. If he's cheating, beating and/or being a slime ball, I would say something, but if you just don't like him, I probably wouldn't, because he might be different with her, especially behind closed doors.

keep your mouth shut!
if you said something and she did go through with the marriage, you will always be the girl who didnt approve and it will forever affect your friendship

Re: Can we have a serious conversation?
actually FHs good friend was dating and then moved in with a girl that no one liked...she was antisocial and tried change him to name a few of the problems. A few of his close friends decided they should sit down and tell him what they think and so they did. he appreciated their talk and continued to date/live with her until about 2-3 months later when he decided to end it and move out. He said the talk opened his eyes up and then he spent the next 2 months trying to figure it out and he realized his friends were right.

they're lucky they're still friends. I've learned over the years that in most cases you stay quiet and let them work it out. I've seen friendships destroyed over it.

Re: Can we have a serious conversation?
i mean i get this though.
my mom's best friend's daughter married this a hole.
at their wedding...he disappeared w his friends and after the 1st dance we never saw him again. i'm not kidding. somehow you'd think this would be a sign to her.
well, she divorced him eventually...after he told her he never wanted to move out of his parents basement unless she got a 3rd job and bought the house herself. he charged 10k on her ccs for a home theater and quit his crappy job and let her support him.

Re: Can we have a serious conversation?
I have been in that situation recently. I told her how I felt and told her that I knew she Deserved much better and that he was not good enough for her! Im thankful that she saw this too and ended up leaving him. Shes a beautiful girl and a total Sweetheart that would do anything for anyone. He was a total heartless A$$hole! His loss not hers

Re: Can we have a serious conversation?
I have been in this situation, only I was engaged to the A-hole. My friends never said anything to me, I knew they hated him though, but I really didn't care. Even if they did say something to me, I wouldn't have cared. Thank god I realized on my own what a jerk he was and how miserable I would have been forever and we broke up.
