Yes, I didn't think my friend should marry her husband bc she's cheated on him and I don't think they're a good fit but it's not my life!

Re: Can we have a serious conversation?

I am going through this right now!! My best friend is dating a guy who she knows she is going to marry. He lies to her and makes her feel as though she imagined some of the things he lied about. I can't stand him! It is driving me crazy because her health is bad and she thinks that he is great, meanwhile he doesn't help her quit smoking when he smokes and buys her the cigarettes. She was on a ventilator a few months back in the ICU and I asked him if she was okay because I couldn't get a hold of her....he lied to me and told me that she was okay, just really busy..I was fuming!!!!!! Since then it just hasn't been the same between me and her. Now I am trying to find a way to get him to not come to my wedding.. I told my mom and sister that I don't want him in any of my pictures or my video so I wasn't going to give he photographer and videographer a pic of him so they can avoid him

totally been there! One of my dearest friends had dated her DB boyfriend for years. He was always cheating on her, spending endless time with his guy friends, and being generally shady. Both me and our other really good friend made it clear how we felt about him, and that we thought she could do better. Well they ended up breaking up and spending some time apart.

Then about 3 months later she got back with him! We again reiterated our feelings. We literally sat down and told her we would always be there for her but as her friends we needed to make it clear how we felt about him. After that day we decided to support her decision.

It is difficult to be around him to this day but what can you do?
