Dude,
I'm scared of the entrance. We have to walk down these big stairs to get down. I am the KLUTZIEST person ever. Seriously, i fell down a flight of stairs at KOI and broke my shoe. It was during lunch time and I wasn't even drinking!!!

I totally know those steps! i'm a klutz too. my friend still talks about the time I stepped outside of Murphy's on 2nd ave and just completely wiped out on the sidewalk. hello, it was like 10 years ago [but i WAS drunk]

yeah, i don't know. it's just so not me to come into this big fanfare. I'm sure people will think it's weird if we don't do that. Plus we don't have a traditional bridal party anyway. dilemmas...

LOLOL Cant believe you know the exact stairs I am talking about. I had to go upstairs to my client lunch and pretend nothing happened. Meanwhile, the strap of my shoe was completely broken and my insides were RACING!!!
Totally know Murphy's as well!!
Did you live in the city?
Not everyone does an entrance. My friend didn't. All they did was just wave to their friends from the balcony above the reception. No announcement.

yup, for 4 years. but i went to undergrad and have worked here for like 11 years (yikes!) so i've been around. spent way too many nights at Murphys in the early days (thanks to no proofing).

i remember walking up those steps at Koi and they were wet! so I think that's why I still remember them - I totally thought I was going to wipe out.

hmm you're right. he definitely had an opinion about the guest list. most everything else he doesn't seem to care about, but i'll give it another shot.

i wasnt going to do the grand entrance

but sometimes, i feel by trying so hard NOT to be the center of attention - you might make it worse. . .

like if we didnt do one, people would be all confused and maybe ask us about it later

i know i shouldnt have cared what other people thought BUT it would have defeated the purpose of being low key if everyone went all crazy about it

so we did the entrance it was fun, and short and over before i knew it!!!

i know!! this is the whole wedding with me - my sisters and everyone else knows I didn't want so many things that were normal to do in our family... like i'm having a much smaller shower than they all did and smaller wedding, i didn't want a BP, didn't want an e-party (but i got one), didn't want a church wedding (BIG deal), etc.

so I don't want to be super annoying and seem like I'm trying too hard to be different. they're just certain things that i'm uncomfortable with. but if FH is into it I guess I'll do it.

maybe FH doesn't want one either.. so then it will work out..

will you be attending your cocktail hour? i'm actually looking forward to our grand entrance.. because after our ceremony, our priest does not and will not announce us as husband and wife.. (long story and religious significance) but anyway.. i'm scared i'll topple over too... and FH is worried he'll have the nervous look when all eyes are on him..

we will be at our cocktail hour, which is another reason it seems silly to do a grand entrance when people will have just seen us.

i SHOULD be scared of toppling over since I've been looking for low heels thanks to a still weak ankle But it's more the fanfare and all that I'm not so into. and deciding on a song for it would drive me nuts i think.

regardless will be buzzed from all the drinks from cocktail.. you will have people screaming and whistleing and stuff as soon as they see you..

not sure about the song either.. we still have 2 months..
