'Can We Stay With You?' ...

Am I the only one getting this question? it seems like both my fam and FH's fam from OOT are all trying to get first dibs on staying at our place to avoid paying for a hotel.


Um, did I not haggle for discounted rates at 2 moderate hotels? Did I not list multiple options on our weboage including the link and phone number for hotels.com in case the hotels I blocked with are not to peoples liking?

We have a 2 bedroom, sometimes we dont fit....NO you all cant stay with US!


P.S maybe we want to be ALONE as newlyweds in our house before we leave for our HM

my mom got mad at me and told me i was a bridezilla bc i refused to have anyone say at her house the night before (which is where im getting ready)

OMG! That so rude! If people asked if they could stay with us the answer would be a big fat NO!!

OH we are totally having that problem. FMIL said to FH that she didn't book hotel rooms for his brothers or have them book hotel rooms for themselves because she figured they (and their girlfriends) would stay at our house with FH. This way they could bring CJ (the crazy yellow lab) and leave him there.

1) If CJ is at home they will have to leave the wedding events to let him out.
2) FH will have 4 people in the house the night before with him, including 2 girls.
3) We will get home to our house the night after our wedding night (for my first real night there), the night before our honeymoon, and have sheets to do and towels to wash.
4) We have transportation arranged from the rh to the hotel, nothing is going back to our house.
5) THAT DOG CHEWS EVERYTHING AND IS NOT STAYING IN MY NEWLY FIXED-UP HOUSE BY ITSELF!!!

But she is still arguing this with FH. Luckily one FBIL booked his own room, so now we just have the one who owns CJ to deal with.


So I totally sympathize with you and relate to what your going through. AHHHHH!!!

You will need all the space you can get! That is a special event.

Plus How can you get ready with Uncle Joe tweezing his eyebrows in the bathroom and Aunt Jane curling her hair in the guest room .....no way I would have said no too!

Fh's sister will be staying with us for the week , she lives in GA. i dont mind , she wont be a bother

but

his other sister who lives in england tried getting to stay here too , with 4 KIDS NOOOO freaking way! i put my foot down on that one

I sent saved the dates WELL in advance like super early so people could have ample time to save and book etc..... wow ....just wow
