so last week i got my last wisdom tooth removed. ive been in excruiciating amounts of pain but still have to go 2 work because my boss told me last week to shape up or ship out (well, shape up or no raise). So i keep complaining to the dentist that this pain is not normal and finally he treats me for something gross called dry socket. He took a thread of cotton, dunked it in something that tastes like CLOVES and its sitting in my empty spot in my MOUTH. Its soo disgusting! every time i swallow, i feel nauseous.

so then going home from work today, a mfer CRASHES into my husbands car. while im driving it. alone. while DH is upstate. Now i cant drive the friggin car till saturday cuz the mirror's broken off and I cant tell him about it cuz he will FREAK OUT.

i know that others are having really serious health issues and i am praying that they are ok. i just wanted to vent about how much of a loser i am.

on the flipside- i lost 2 pounds after exclusively eating liquified soups and mashed potatoes. two freaking pounds in seven freaking days- jeez

oh no cate! wisdom teeth are the worst!!! And the car!!!

omg you poor girl,
i had bad complications with wisdom teeth too. some people can do back the next day i had to take a week off. too bad your boss wasnt a little more understanding

Yeah, I heard dry socket is the worst! Isn't it when the clot forming over the empty space is moved or irritated. When I got mine removed they told me I couldn't drink from a straw, smoke (even though I don't), and some other suction in your mouth ( ) kinda things.

I'm sorry. Can you take pain killers? If so, load up on 'em and try to relax as much as possible. Thankfully it's Friday (unless you work Saturdays too).

As for the car Maybe if you tell DH while you're still feeling really bad, he'll have some sympathy and not go to hard on you.

did you have dry socket too? how long did it take to heal? i cant take any painkillers cuz they mes with my stomach. i am a mess!!
