My FH friend came over last night with his girlfriend. We were all sitting around talking and out of no where she says, Oh I got your bridal shower invitation in the mail!!!!!!!!!
How could someone slip when the invitation says 'Shhh SURPRISE!!!'???????? My poor mom is going crazy trying not to let anything slip in front of me and this girl ruined the whole surprise!
I AM SO ANNOYED!!! Sorry, I had to vent...thanks for listening.
But how can people be so stupid????

It stinks doesnt it? I can so relate. Within 1 week I had someone say to me 'I got your shower invitation', 'I took off work for your shower' and my MOH accidentally send me an email about my shower that was intended to only go to the bridesmaids (I didntpeek though, just knew from the title 'Shower Update')

I had a lot of people slip. Plus, my mother 80 year old aunt sent me a card saying she was sorry she could not make my shower..lol

One of my co-workers did the same thing!!!
She came in one monday mornign and was like 'oh, is it OK if I come late to your shower'... i wa slike 'STOP- I don't know anyting about my shower, when it is, etc... it's a surprise'... and she was like 'oh, it iiiiiiiisssssssss?'... HELLO????

I thought it was kinda obvious my invites were out. I received a gift off my registry so when I saw my aunt who sent the gift, I thanked her and she replied ,' You're welcome. We can't make it so we sent it to you.'
Yikes, well I guess the invites are out!
At least you don't know the date!!!
ETA: My SIL from California thinks it's so strange that we have surprise showers. I guess it's different in other states.

My mom is i guess ' alittle too busy to think straight' and used OUR house for a return address and one got returned...so i know they went out
my sis said she also put OUR HOUSE as the RSVP # then my sis noticed and changed them

i know how much that *****. i know im having one. i just dont know when. my mom had slipped and said my grandma from jersey and aunt and uncle from upstate arent comming. bummer!!!
