Can you cook bacon on the George Forman grill?

We are making BLT's for dinner tonight.
We haven't had that in a long time.

I have but you have to flip it over. The bacon is too thin to cook from the top. It's great b/c you dont get grease splattered all over the place

Yes, I've cooked bacon on it tons of time. It comes out really crispy. As said earlier, you have to flip it.

Lisa Rose- Make sure you put a little butter spread out on the bread before you cook it for flavor.

bacon...thats fantastic!! DH will be very happy when he hears this!!!

also...just a tip...if you look in the store for 'center cut' bacon...there is less fat and calories...a little more expensive...but worth the indulgence

you cna - you can also microwave it qwitrh lots of paper towls and it crisps nicely - and absorbs the fat and grease - we do it with turky bacon all the time - the forman grill makes it ok, but we like the microwave version a little more....

i know - isn't it the best?? i love cripsy bacon and you can't burn it (or if you can - somehow i never managed to!!)

A couple of minutes,then you check it.
Then you have to throw that paper towel out because its saturated in grease and put in a new one.
