So wait a second....how does this work? Do places let you do that so you can save $$$? This is great!!!! Its just one line of text...so its likely that it will fit on most invitations??

This is usually done when the ceremony and reception are at the same place.

i checked out so many invitation sources, and FINALLY (of course, they dont advertise this) found that you can put the reception information in the bottom left corner (most places it is up to 3 lines, and only $1 more per each 100 you order!!!).
the maps and information cards go in with the invitation anyway, so it's not like people wont realize the reception hall information.
i just didnt put it in the left corner on my invitations b/c it didnt look right, but i tried to make sure that the line went all the way across the bottom, so that it at least stuck out when people looked at it.

oh.. i made my own invitations, but i realized about the reception thing from the Rexcraft catalogue, so i Know that they definately do it!
let me know if theres anything else i might be able to help you with

I just got an invite like that at the begining of the summer! It was so nice b/c everything was on one card & I only needed that & the directions slip. I'll see if I can find a sample.

These are a little different but it gives you an idea of how it works. Her invite had the reception location in the lower left corner - I think it's usually an extra when ordering.

yeah... i would be scared about not sending them their own RSVP envelop Already stamped... b/c you'd probably never hear from anyone! but i really never understood why you have a huge beautiful invitation for a ceremony that lasts a half hour and a side card for the reception (which is what you spend all the Big bucks on).
thats just my personal take on it (i decided early in the game that invitations weren't allowed to be one of my Big sources of stress)
oh, and i'd rather spend that extra money either 1)making myself look like a princess or 2) doing something crazy in the bahamas
