Of course you can have two! But is there a particular reason your mom wouldn't be cool with your cousin being a bridesmaid? You should want them both as your MOHs if that's what you choose to do, not do it because your mom says so. How big is your BP going to be otherwise?

My mom goes to the tradition, whoever your maid of honor is, she will be the god mother of your first child and my mom feels it should be a relative and not a friend.
And as for the rest of my bridal party, I have 3-4 bridemaids and 1 junior bridesmaid. The reason I say 3-4 is because one friend lives in South Carolina and she may not be albe to afford to be in it.
Why would it have to be a family member and not a friend? Sometimes friends are better 'family' to you than those who actually are your family.

Sure you can. I have a maid and a matron of honor.....both my sisters, because I refused to choose.

but matron of honor is only when they are married right? because both of my girls are not married.

Yes, one is married, the other is not. But if my one sister wasn't married, they'd still both be my maids of honor.

yes Matron refers to those who are married. But it's no problem to have them both as Maids.

I have 2 because I wouldn't chose between my 2 best friends and they are more family to me than some of my real family are .

I have two as well!! Both of my sisters are my maids of honor because I could not pick one over the other. You can do whatever you want, its your wedding there are no real rules with something like this.
