I saw this color at the bridal salon the other day and I was wondering if any of you could help with some flower idea's. I love the color but I don't waant to over do the 'blue' if you know what I mean. Also do you think that it's a good color for the end of September? I stuck
That's a beautiful color! I agree with the ivory flowers - any of the bouquets posted above would be gorgeous!

I'm really tossed --- I love the blue with either champagne or taupe but they also had a Patina Jim Hjelm dress that was pretty and if I use that color it will be patina, pinks, ivory (victorian), I'm just having trouble with this color dress and need some help. My FH is concerned that the 'patina' colored dress will get lost in our pictures outside (you know blend in with the greenery)

I am using this color!! In real life I found it to be a bit brighter -- I will most likely be going with pink flowers, and have the guys in silver/pewter vests.

honestly, i don't know if i would use pink flowers with that dress, it will be too overwhelming, you should do more of a contrasting thing. Plus the flowers will blend too much with the dress, ALSO blue is one color that you cant put together with other blues because they clash and if the colors are off then it might clash too much

I have the swatch (3x3) and out of the two dresses that Jim Hjelm has on his website this one was closer to the swatch. Do you have any pictures of the BOK you are going to use? I love that pewter look but I also love the Charcoal gray striped pants with the black jacket look I think it will go with all of our handsome men

I agree - I was trying to stay away from the blue flowers for the bridesmaids because it clashes to much. I'll probably stay with the creams and a pail pink with some 'monkey tails' I love those things

yeah i was just going to suggest pink and lavender bc that is what i am using. . .but then i realized that my blue dresses are darker so it would work better. . .
i would stick with maybe ivory and champagne?
i am not using any blue flowers - not a fan of them.
