Can you iron satin?

I know I am asking a ton of not so bright questions..but I ordered my gloves off of EBay..they are beautiful, but have lines on them from the cardborad hand that they have been stored in..I hate to put an iron to them if it would ruin them..does anyone know what I can do? Thanks!!!

Turn them inside out and iron on a cooler setting. Should be fine.

Besides using a low setting you may want to put a thin towel over the satin when you iron so that the iron does not come in direct contact with the satin. (Just in case the iron should happen to be too hot)

I would probably be too nervous to iron them.
How about taking them to a dry cleaner?

I feel like I should do it, that way if I mess them up..its my fault..if a cleaner messes them up..i'll be mad. Does that make any sense?

turn them inside out & place a towel between the iron & the gloves & use a lower setting first, then build it up if you have to, but very carefully.
