Can you please help me out with some gifts for women? Thanks!

Thanks ladies, you've never elt me down before!

I need 2 birthday gifts. I was thinking in the $50-100 range.

One is for my sister, early thirties, married, a nurse, she doens't like jewelry, makeup or perfume, she's not really a reader, and doens't go out much.

The other is for my best friend, early twenties, law student, just moved into a gorgeous UES apt.
Any suggestions?

for the apartment one- how about something from crate and barrel - or a gift certificate there. a fondue set is fun too

Hmm - your sister is hard. Maybe a gift card - I LOVE getting those - with some Lindt chocolates? Does she like kitchen stuff. I love to get any kind of kitchen gadget. Maybe an ice cream maker, fondue is super fun or a Bodum tea pot with a few types of tea (the set at the below website I got for my parents, FILs and cousin )Bodum

Kitchen/home ideas could work for your friend too - since she just got her own place.

My sister is so so tough! She doens't cook either, so kitchen stuff is out too. I figured with ym friend I cna at least get her a BBB gift car or crate and barrel for her Apt, but my sister, first of all i got her that last year, and secondly she tends to not use gift cards. Maybe I'll buy her a cute summeroutfit and some sandals.

Wow she is hard! That is like FFIL - he has all the crap he needs and all he does is work, I never know what to get him! I make FH do all the shopping for him (which usually means no shopping gets done - argh!)

Maybe a gift certificate to a nice restaurant - I LOVE to get those. :)
