My sister boght this coleman portable which i was going to borrow for the BBQ, but now it looks like it's going to be MUCH too small to cook food for the amount of people we're having. Can you reccomend a small, inexpensive BBQ? I saw one at BJ's called fiesta for about $150. it runs on a full size propane tank. Do you thik that's the best we can do, or is there cheaper out there?

I just checked walmart.com and there were tons around that price and cheaper. They looked nice :)
what is the different betweena charcoal gril and a gas grill? Do you still need charcaol in a gas grill? I think I'm better off with gas b/c I cna control the temperature. I'm completely inexperienced at grilling!

Isnt charcoal also dirty? I think you have to clean out all the ashes? I could be wrong but I have a propane grill.

A gas grill doesn't use charcaol. however, if it is a full size tank of propane, you won't use it all at one bbq. If you are not going to use it again, what are you going to do with the propane? Can you leave the grill in the yard?
Charcoal on the other hand, you could buy a relatively small bag of. It is messier, you need lighter fluid & you have to clean out the ashes.
If you are inexperienced at grilling, maybe someone should help you.

I think you can also check Loew's - my parents said they saw some nice ones for not too much for sale there.

I think my BIL will help me. I've done some grilling on the BBQ we used to hvae. It was gas, but it had something at the bottom? looked like charcoal or something. I wasn't planning on buying a BBQ, but if we do buy one, we can bring it to my mom's house after the BBQ and use it there all summer. (my dad threw ours out last year for no apparent reason). The one my sis bought is too small, so I guess it would be accomplishing two good things, even though I was not planning on spending that kind of $$.

or do you think I can get away with my sister's. We're having about 10 people. It was 2 grill plates, about a fot by a foot each, and it runs on a butane torch. I think I could basically cool about 3 burgers and 3 veggie burgers at a time on it...the fiesta one I could do like 5 and 5.
(any grill we have we split down the middle, one side meat only, one side vegetarian only.)
(oh btw, if I bought a propane grill, i actually already have a brand nwew tank in the garage)
