CAN YOU REMEMBER A TIME

without FH in your life?

I find it really hard to do so. Fh and I have been together over 8 yrs. I feel like i gauge how long ago things were or when things happened by our relationship. Like 'Wow James and I were only dating 3 yrs when that happened? that doesnt seem right'

this came up yesterday, even FHs cousins said to me that they cant remember when I wasn't in their family, I'm their cousin and thats, thats, like Ive always been there. - That was really sweet! and its true i think of them as MY cousins and always have.

I agree we have been together 7 1/2 years and my like was a mess before i met him...i try not to think about life before him because i dont want to think of where i would be!!

I don't do it based on how long we've been together, but i do judge time by how long we've known eachother. 5 years is a long time!

well thats fine too because obviously he was important in your life at that time as well...

i think that is what confuses me too because FH and i have been a couple for over 8 yrs BUT we have known each other as friends for about 10

I cant ever imagine life without him...but i can remember the time before him., Ive changed so much and I love the person I am now., as opposed to how I was

Yea I feel the same way. We have been together for over seven and a half years. He has smaller siblings so I have known his sister since she was 2! It is really nice though that I look at prom pics and we went together I love that

i feel that way about FH too..we have been together for 51/2 years and i cant even imagine who ran home to everyday with my exciting/happy/bad/etc news!!!! He truly is my best friend and i cant picture life without him in it

same here we have known eachother from hanging out in the same pool hall for 10 years but we have been together over 7 its hard to remember being with anyone else

It is really hard to remember a time without him.......Sept 24th will be 9 years that we are together.

DEFINITELY...we were talking about this the other day. We were tyring to figure out how long it's been since we saw a friend in Chicago & i was like, okay, it wasn't last year - last year we did this and this and this... When we sat back and realized all we've done - it was like....really???

No, we have been together almost 3 yrs. I was going threw a tough time when I met him and he made everything better. He works 4 days out of the week and I dont see him. I feel so lonely without him. Can't wait until we get married then I will see him everyday!!!!

I think this is so great!! I love that I can associate so much in our lives, milestones in our lves with being together!

I know one of the strangest things for FH was when my sister graduated HS. We were sitting at the graduation and he turns and says it was so wierd because he remembers going to her 6th grade graduation. and it doesnt even feel that long ago. My sister felt like that too... i think its nice that he saw her grow up!

FH and I have been dating for 2 years and 1 month (today actually : ) ) and even though 2 years seems like so little to most of you (who I see are dating their FH for a longggg time), I can't remember what life was like without him, nor would I want to! Since he came into my life, everything has been incredible. Everyone always says, 'when you meet the one for you, you will JUST know'....I never, ever believed it. 'They' were right! I knew him for a couple of years prior to dating him, however, we never really hung out before we started dating. All it took was one night of hanging out and I KNEW he was the one for me!
