I find it really hard to do so. Fh and I have been together over 8 yrs. I feel like i gauge how long ago things were or when things happened by our relationship. Like 'Wow James and I were only dating 3 yrs when that happened? that doesnt seem right'
this came up yesterday, even FHs cousins said to me that they cant remember when I wasn't in their family, I'm their cousin and thats, thats, like Ive always been there. - That was really sweet! and its true i think of them as MY cousins and always have.

thats true for me too.. i try to think what i would do before he was around... and how did i make it through family functions? haha
