I don't know what to do. I thought I liked my original wedding dress but now that I placed the order and the dress came in, I don't like it. Has anyone had this happen to them?

I've seen people do two things when they no longer like their dress
1. Sell it 2. Have a dressmaker make altering changes to the dress to make it all your own. You'd be surprised what they can do with it.

I'm having the same problem, except I'm too scared to order a new gown: my wedding is only 125 days away!
I posted a picture of my gown on here and got great suggestions from the girls on how I could alter it to make it more similar to how I'd wanted. Send an FM if you want and maybe I can help?

How long ago did you order? The bridal salon may be able to cancel the order if the manufacturer hasn't started the process yet. You might be able to get store credit. Call the store and find out.

Did you read your signed contract when you ordered your dress? It should state their policy in that document.

You can try and sell it on ebay or on here. I know alot of laces won't let you return it unless they know of someone who will buy it. but you might only get store credit or lose out on your deposit.

The store has the dress in, I just called....
I feel terrible and frankly very ashamed because I feel like this wedding 'stuff' is tearing me apart. I am starting to doubt everything

Is the dress you ordered the same dress you have in your photo album? Because if it is that dress is gorgeous and I wouldn't exchange it! What dress are you thinking about getting?

My dress came in and I hated it. I actually ended up ordering a new one.

I have these broad shoulders, I don't know girls, I know this is stupid, I am just so unsure about everything...doubting every decision I am making...
It is driving me crazy and making me cry consistantly...what is wrong with me?

YES I rushed into buying my dress and now I am not crazy about it. I couldn't return it I tried ot sell it on Ebay but no one bought it! sorry!!! XOXOXO Kitty

I see that you're saying that you're doubting everything. It is a normal feeling. But, you should talk to your FH. Get everything out in the open. If you can't talk now, how will you after you're married?

What about if you go and try it on again. You might feel different. You are probably just getting very overwhlemed. Talk to FH and maybe take a break from the planning and wedding things related. Maybe you and FH can go away for a weekend or something just to relax.

I think your dress is absolutely beautiful! I totally understand the second guessing...I'm also having doubts about my dress, but I keep remembering how I felt the day I ordered it....you are going to be a beautiful bride!!
