I don't know what to do. I thought I liked my original wedding dress but now that I placed the order and the dress came in, I don't like it. Has anyone had this happen to them?
What can you do?

I had doubts too with my dress when I first tried it on after it came in. I loved it though on my wedding day!

ok, so I looked at your dress and it's gorgeous! But I can understand your feelings of doubt.- not because you don't look gorgeous in the dress, because you do, but because when you have doubt, you have doubt and only you can resolve it when it comes to your wedding gown. So I would bite the bullet and order a new dress. You still have time and maybe you can sell it. You do look beautiful though! Good luck!

I feel your pain. I ordered 2 dresses after I changed my mind about the first one.
I had to sell it. I still took a HUGE loss. But I think it will be worth it when I wow everyone with my new HUGE dress at the wedding.
PS I used liwedding, the knot, the weddingchannel.com, and craigs list. I got responses from all these sites, unfortunately only one of the girls was the right size, but you only need one.

OK, that dress looks very nice, on the model....
I have these broad shoulders, I don't know girls, I know this is stupid, I am just so unsure about everything...doubting every decision I am making...
It is driving me crazy and making me cry consistantly...what is wrong with me?
I think you need a week off from wedding-related decision-making (and wedding web sites). It sounds like you'rej ust getting overwhelmed. Remember, these decisions are NOT life-altering. It's one day in what will be a very long, happy life for you and your FH. They aren't worth stressing yourself so much.
Seriously, take a week off - take a break from wedding stuff for a while and give yourself time to clear your head.
You will look beautiful on your wedding and, while no one can guarantee that it'll be a 'perfect day' - it will be amazing b/c it's the day you marry the man you want to be with.
Try to relax and do some non-wedding related things for a bit!

I agree, take a week off....
I think that dress looks absolutely gorgeous on you..... and like many others, I'm a rather picky person....
If you really think you dislike it, and you must buy it, keep it in the closet and order another dress. when the new one arrives, put this one on ebay...
but it really does look beautiful on you....

I was able to exchange my dress for another at the same store. I was much happier with my 2nd choice

The dress is lovely. See how you feel in a little while and try it on again. If you still don't like it, definitely give selling it a go. I bought two dresses and put my first dress on Craigslist. What people write is correct, you only need one person to want it. I sold mine. People even buy dress that have already been worn. Give it a try!

I posted the same thing after my dress came in.... I went all over trying on new dresses. I would see what yu don't like about it and if it can be fixed before going to get a new one. I made a few minor changes and they made a HUGE difference. I absolutley loved my dress!

I've been all sorts of confused too and second guessing myself with wedding details! I think it's just my personality. I totally agree with Pinkiegirl...I just try to remember how I felt the first time I tried it on, or the first time I ordered something that I now wonder about! It's will all turn out fine for you!
