Can you reuse fake lashes?

After some consideration, I've decided to do my own makeup for the wedding I'm going to, as well as our e-pics in a few months (was considering using an artist, but times are tough, and I do a good enough job myself). I bought same false lashes, two pairs, one for each occasion. I googled and saw that it's ok to reuse them like up to 3 times. Every time I had false lashes on for trials and stuff, I always threw them out. I'm a little nervous because I have such sensitive eyes for infections and pink eye.

Has anyone reused lashes in the past, or would advise against it? I obviously don't need to wear these more than the two times (i'll have other lashes for DOW), so could just discard them, but would like to know if anyone has firsthand experience. TIA!
