Can you sue someone who advertises they have purebred toy pups and you pay them and 6mths later the pup is like 50 pounds and they wont give you the $$ back. Then you find out the pup was from the pound so you dont even know if the dog is pedigree anything?
I'm no expert, but I would say you can make a claim in small claims court.
Yes! in small claims court you can. I bought my dog at Yuppy Puppy, ( Yea I know they suck) They sold her to me as a Jack Russle Terrior PUREBRED! As the months go on the little rat isnt growing and I find out she is a Chihuahua. I called them and they said no way she is a jack russle. I took them to court and won.

yes you can sue them for misrepresentation/breach of contract in small claims court.
