I met with both companies and disliked them both instantly.
Pedestals was ready to sell me on the spot - sell me everything I told them I did not want! Flowers By Brian was the least creative florist I have ever seen. They had me looking at flowers from a book of flower DRAWINGS!! They couldnt even show me any live examples, only silk arrangements.
If you spend time looking, you can find someone creative and better IMO. I went to see them both b/c of reviews I saw on LIW, but left the appointments very disappointed. I am using a company that is more of a design company and spending more than twice what was quoted to me by Pedetals and Flowers by Brian. I think you get what you pay for.

I used Pedestals Florist for my April 30th wedding and the flowers were gorgeous! I got so many compliments on them. I highly recommend Pedestals, you will be very pleased!

I met with Pedestals. I though they were great but before I booked them I decided to meet with Flower Michele.
John from Flower Michele is amazing! He understood my vision and his price came in less than Pedestals. Plus he is right across the street from my hall.

My sister went with Flowers By Brian...and her flowers were beautiful. Their orginal price was kinda of high...so my sister told them that she really liked their work...but if they couldn't come down on the price she would have to go with someone else...because her parents were paying for it.

We used Buds and Blooms who is a newer vendor on here. Very good and very reasonable!

Check out simply stems...they are a vendor on her but I don't see many reviews about them. they were the first florist I met with and after about five others I went back to them. They were sweet, patient and helpful! Here are the roses they found for us for the centerpieces!!!!!!

Check out National Flora (vendor on here) - they're fantastic, their work is amazing, and they're the best priced.
Hated Pedestals - they're a rip off and refused to give me anything that I wanted or work w/my budget. They were also very nasty to me and refused to give me a breakdown of the quote.

I used Flowers By Brian for my June 11 wedding at the Carltun and couldn't have been happier --he did such an amazing job...I dealt with Brian directly --I am going to post pics soon...Good luck.

My Aunt is Flowers by Rosemarie
She did my flowers, and my sister's flowers for our wedding last year. They were magnificent!
