Can you trust online bridal gowns?

Has anyone ordered and received their gown from these online stores. I've noticed alot of you are using them but has anyone actually received theirs? What's the verdict?

My best friend/MOH (duke) did and hers is perfect. I think she ordered from bridesave but it may have been netbride.

I've heard good things about ordering online. I think you just have to make sure that you have a good seamstress for alterations.

I used Netbride and I was VERY pleased with them. They were very good about confirming my order and making sure I got what I wanted. The price was great and it came in earlier than I thought.

There a few brides on here that ordered their gown online. They even made it on the paper (Newsday) as there was an article about it. WC0143, FeliciaDA to mention a few. They are very helpful ladies therefore I'm sure if you contact them, they can tell you of their experience which if I recalled correctly was a very good one. You can do a search on here too and try to get the previous posts. When ordering online, like someone else said you just have to have a seamstress available and take your measurements correctly. Oh yes, usually by at least 30-40% cheaper, sometimes as much as 60-70%!

wow that would be great because I think this dress is listed at over $250. Since Im buying two of them(for my daughters)I could use a price break. I tried the netbride.com site and requested a quote but they don't list this designer as one they deal with.

house of brides is good plus you can get the price just by entering the style number - they have belsoie, B2 - junior sizes for belsoie i had to wmail them - but to get an idea it was $10 or $20 less than what you would pay for the adult version

www.houseofbrides.com - it is actually a store outside of chicago

Sorry I really don't know about Dresses online but I can tell you if you are looking for good quality for less money I bought mine from Lynbrook Bridal in Lynbrook. And it was under $600

Netbride quoted me a price 30 bucks cheaper for bridesmaid gowns. Seems crazy not to use them!

Is that the one on Sunrise Hwy. by White Castle? I went there and they were sooo rude. I was going to by a sample dress there and they told me they would clean it for a fee. Which was fine until I asked a seamstress how they would clean it and she told me they had a huge washing machine they put it in.

Can I make a suggestion? I too was on a hunt for a bargain. I scoured all the online websites, but I found two that were the most comparable. You can either go online or visit in person. Try RKbridal and Burtons. My bridesmaid dress was quoted at $210 and at both stores they gave me a quote of $135.

here is another online place pearls place

they have jim helm - also try Rk bridal - you can call for the price

also for pearls place it is easier to call - they can't give all the prices over email

pearls was recomended by my wedding consulatant
