Canceled my appointment for Kleinfelds this sunday...need suggestions in L.I!

I just called to ask if they had different sample dresses than the ones from the blowout sale last week and she said it's from the same stock so I canceled.

I don't want to waste my sunday though...thinking of going to L.I to go shopping there with my mums...any suggestions?

Is it a long shot to get an appointment anywhere at this time

Alexandra Boutique in Forest Hills is nice, but Im not too sure they are open on Sundays.

no, not a certain designer in mind although I love badgley mischka and romona keveza gowns...that aint gonna happen

found min there but they are closed on Sundays in the summer. They are opened on Mondays instead just an FYI.

Sorry to crash - you could still dress shop in the city, no? You could surely get appointments at some of the flagship stores - maybe Pronovias, Reem Acra, Amsale, Vera Wang, J. Crew Bridal. There's also Gabriela's, Sak's Fifth Avenue, Bergdorf's . . .lots of options!

On LI you could try Wedding Salon of Manhasset, Priscilla of Boston and Vera Wang - and you could do them all in one day probably, they are close to each other. GL!!

Thank you for all the suggestions! I def plan on going to more places in the city since I work there but this sunday I would be coming in from NJ and my mom is in L.I.

I don't trust this little asian lady to manuever the subways by herself so that means I would have to go to L.I and then both of us would have to come back to the city. Figured I would cut out that extra step.

I'm going to The Wedding Salon in Manhasset tonight - I'll let you know how it goes! I think their gowns start around $2000 and go up from there. They also have all the Vera Wang gowns there.
