Cancellations

So, in the last 2 weeks, 7 guests who rsvp'd yes have cancelled :(

I am so dissappointed. Is this happening to anyone else?

Thank god I haven't gotten to placecards yet!

Are RSVP date is coming up and I am upset beucase it looks like we will not make our min. We are getting alot of no's

Two have very legit reasons and I completely understand.

Some people's reasons on the other hand are not very believable.

ughhh That's so annoying!!!

We are still a few weeks out from the wedding, but I'm afraid some people are going to do that for us too.

YES that happened to me. I had 2 good friends each cancel about 2 weeks before the wedding, then another couple a few days before, and another friend and guest cancelled 2 days before.. and one no show. i basically paid for 5 people that weren't there and was soooo p i ss e d.. still am! i was hurt by 2 people, the rest i didn't care that they weren't there, just upset because they didn't care that i already made my final payment. my rh gave me an ice sculpture to make up for it, but $500!!! i'd rather have that back.

2 were due to the 'economy' because they were OOT.. yet when they cancelled they should probably have booked a flight already.. 1 was because she was hired to host a party for celine dion's son.. no joke.. 1's grandmother died which i totally understand so that was ok.

i may be selfish and mean but i really keep thinking that celine dion owes me $200

ah that stinks. . I had a lot of people who said they were coming change their mind but before RSVP . . but I'm still a month out so hope it doesn't happen b/c we are already two people under our minimum. .

that is SO rude... why bother rsvping at all!!

dont people realize what it costs per head plus now you have to rearrange your tables... grrrrr

Your lucky they called and they weren't no show's. The hall should give you back the money. They usually give you up until 3 days before the wedding to get a refund.

I'm havnt the opposite effect!! Everyone wants to come!! I'm very fedup with ppl calling my family and sister!!

I clearly said 'No Children!! (Except my nephews.. who are VERY important!!)..

I hope it works out for you... You finally get to know who are your true friends...

This hasn't happened to me yet but being that 130 guest RSVPed no in the first place I would surely hope that the 55% of the people I invited could make it!!!!


I am convinced RSVPs is the MOST stressful part of wedding planning!
